My first post...

Yeah.. SO...this is my first post as a 'blogger'... this may be an utter fail..but we'll see! So...what's going on in the Adcock household...Stetson is LOVING 1st grade! He enjoys school so much and that is such a blessing! He is such a smart little boy! All the girls love Stetson! I ask him all the time if there is a "special little girl". This is usually followed by "NOOOO mommy...only you" or something to that effect. HOWEVER, the other night we were layin in bed talking before bedtime and I told him that Valentine's day was coming up and I asked him if there was anyone that we needed to get a special gift for. He thought about it for a minute and then this conversation took place: Stetson: I don't know, this is confusing. Me: What's confusing buddy? Stetson: Well, Heidi was in love with Avery and now shes in love with Brockston and I was in love with Davan, but I guess she forgot cause now she likes someone else... I was like .. uhh.. Wait a minute.. You're 6 dude!! haha.. I thought it was precious tho!! He is growing up right before my eyes..

Jackson.. wow! Where to even start with him?!? He is WIDE-OPEN from the time he hits the floor every morning until he finally gives up and goes to bed!! He is such a character! So smart and so darn funny! He says the funniest things! One morning he didn't want to get out of bed and get ready for school. I told him that Omari (his best friend from daycare) would be sad if he didnt get to school because he wouldn't have anyone to play with.. his response: "Well,I guess he needs to stay home then".. WOW.. this coming from a 3 year old! He also has a new found fascination with Scooby Doo! He reminds me everyday that he wants a Scooby Doo birthday party!

I am once again back in school.. RN here I come.. It has been a LONG process.. One that I should have started a long time ago! But.. in due time, I will finish! I have long-term goals..things I want to do and timelines that I need to have them completed by. Will it happen? Who knows..but I'm making an attempt! It's kinda sad to think that I have been nursing since 2002.. but anyone that knows me, knows that I love my job so very much!

We have recently returned back to "our" church, Elba First Assembly.. As you may or may not know, we served as youth pastors there for almost 3 years...Jackson was born during our time there. After we resigned, we visited different churches, but never really felt "at peace" anywhere else. I think all in all, everything that happened, happened for a purpose. Stephen and I were able to grow to new levels as a couple and also spiritually! We have really enjoyed our time back with our "home church family"...Where we go from here? Who knows..but I'm excited to find out!
