WOW... the weekend totally flew by! They seem to do that here lately. I was blessed to get an extra day in on Friday. I was actually suprised that Dr. B called us and told us not to come in, especially considering we NEVER get a day off (ie: working Christmas Eve). Thankfully I didn't have to drive to the big city of Opp in the "great blizzard" and I was able to enjoy this 'once in a blue moon' day with my sweet babies! We played in the snow, then came inside to warm back up..we did this all through out the day. We took lots of pictures and made memories that will last a lifetime!
We woke up Saturday morning to the sound of Jackson exclaming "JEEEZZZUSSSSS...TWIT MAKIN DUH SNOW GO AWAY..." Bless his heart..He was so upset that it was melting! I guess it's true that a child's prayers touches the heart of God because we STILL have a big ball of snow (what once was our snowman) left in our front yard... everything else has melted except this big ball! :)
Stetson had mixed emotions about being out of school. He was excited because of the snow, but was sad because of his Valentine party! Lucky little guy was out of school today and tomorrow as well! He gets to hang out with his PawPaw at the shop tomorrow and 'supervise'! We had a wonderful Valentine's banquet at church Saturday night.. lot of great food and great times with great friends! We are so blessed to be connected with such a great group of people! We are one big happy family at Elba First Assembly and THAT is SUCH a blessing!
